About publication of General Employers Action Plan

Our company has formulated the “General Employers Action Plan” based on the “Act on Advancement of Measures to Support Raising Next-Generation Children ” and the “Act on the Promotion of Women's Participation and Advancement in the Workplace” to achieve the following;
・ Improving the working environment to create a balance between work and family life
・ Promoting the creation of a workplace where women can work actively

  • Act on Advancement of Measures to Support Raising Next-Generation Children
    It is a law to improve the environment in which the children are born and raised healthy.
  • Act on the Promotion of Women’s Participation and Advancement in the Workplace
    It is a law to realize a society where women can fully demonstrate their individuality and abilities and play an active part in professional life.
  • General Employers Action Plan
    This is a plan for our company to improve the employment environment to balance between work and family, improve various working conditions including for employees who are not raising children, actively promote women and increase their ability to develop a career.

SYS Holdings

The following action plan has been formulated to create a work environment in which all employees can maximize their abilities, harmonize work and family life, and contribute to the community by actively supporting the development for the next generation.

  1. 1.Planning period

    10 years from June 1, 2019 to May 31, 2029.

    However, during the planning period, the personnel system will be revised and flexibly reviewed as required by employees.

  2. 2.Contents

    1. [Goal 1] Measures to promote active participation of women
      Implementation period June 2019 ~
      Goal
      • Recruit women actively and improve the work environment so that women can work active roles in all departments and levels.
      • Increase the percentage of women among leaders, managers and officers to 30%.
      • Aiming to create a female president from SYS Holdings Group.
      Initiatives
      • If there is a request from an employee raising a child before entering junior high school, we will thoroughly disseminate a system that is more than statutory, which will allow us to shorten working hours, and further promotion of the use of the system.
      • A working group will be established with female employees, employees in the Human Resources Development Group, and managers, and a study meeting will be held once a year in order to expand the support system that exceeds legal requirements.
      • The person who leaves work for a certain period of time like maternity leave and childcare leave and his/her boss will hold meetings once a month on support for returning to work, and will build good relationships after returning to work. 
      • Established the "Baby Sitter Subsidy Payment Rule" to partially support the cost of using a baby sitter and the "Child accompanying attendance rule" that allows employees to work with their children, thereby balancing the work life and family life of employees raising children.
    2. [Goal 2] Measures to reduce overtime work
      Implementation Period June 2019 ~
      Goal
      • Reduce overtime work for all employees within an average of 20 hours per month.
      • The average number of days taken for annual paid leave is 10 days or more per person.
      Initiative
      • Every Wednesday and Christmas Eve will be designated as “No overtime days,” encouraging more efficient work to finish work early and go home earlier. The manager takes the initiative to return home at the closing time and urges his subordinates to return home.
      • Based on the “Project Management Guidelines” and “Quality Management Guidelines” for the purpose of managing processes and delivery dates, and assigning appropriate personnel, we will build an environment that can reduce overtime work.
      • For overtime work, based on the “overtime application rule”, which is based on a prior application and permission system, we always check for proper allocation of work and whether it is impossible, wasteful, or uneven. Also, prevent physical and mental health problems caused by overwork.
      • Proactively invest in various systems, such as providing cloud storage, introducing internal SNS, renewing groupware, and utilizing AI technology to reduce overtime work.
    3. [Goal 3] Measures to balance between work life and family life
      Implementation Period June 2019 ~
      Goal
      • Proactively improve the work environment for all employees.
      Initiatives
      • For the purpose of refreshing the mind and body and increasing the efficiency of business continuity, thoroughly disseminate and be conscious of the “Refresh Leave Rule,” which encourages employees to take five consecutive days of annual paid leave.
      • Encourage married people to take advantage of the “Family Service Promotion Rules” which is the annual paid leave on the day of their Wedding Anniversary or on the day of Marriage Enrolment ceremony.
      • Hold seminars for female employees who have taken maternity and childcare leave at least once a year to improve the retention rate (continuous employment).
      • A remote work environment will be established to introduce the telework system, and by 2025, 5% of all employees will work from home.
